| The engineering
Department is responsible for the design and construction
of infrastructure within City of Troy right-of-way and
easements. Additionally, the Engineering Department
assists the general public and individuals in the developing
community in the administration and implementation of
new construction of residential, commercial and industrial
projects in the City of Troy in accordance with the
zoning and subdivision ordinance (chapters 405 and 410
of the City of Troy Municipal Code). The Department
addresses land use, zoning matters, future planning
and City development issues and works to administer
the goals of the Comprehensive Plan.
The Engineering Department provides the following
services.
- Development and Implementation of the City's Capital
Improvement Plan.
- Contract Administration for All City Capital Improvement
Projects.
- Construction Inspection of All
City Owned Infrastructure.
- Water & Sewer Service Tap Inspections

Scheduling:
Inspection must be called in to the Engineering Department
at 636-528-1254, 24 hours in advance of service tap
inspections and 48 hours prior to the start of infrastructure
construction.
